Do you carry Intex Pools or do you only build or manufacture them yourself? I have also heard good things about the Saltwater Generator. Do you carry that or will it be compatible with your pool?
Royal Swimming Pools offers above ground pools from several different manufacturers including Mighty Sun, Garden Leisure, and others. Salt systems have become very popular and will help make taking care of your pool easier. The most popular systems for above ground pools are the Aqua Trol and the Chlorease Saltwater to Chlorine Generator. Most people think the water will be salty but you will actually not be able to tell that the water has salt. The amount of salt need in the pool water is very low. It is about the same amount of salt that is in a tear drop. When chlorine kills bacteria and algae in a pool it converts back to salt. The chlorine generator converts that salt water back to chlorine to be used again.
Okay - so I am in desperate need of help!! We have an above ground pool. The pool is a 16/32 oval with a deep end that goes to 7 feet, with a ledge around the deep end. A new liner was installed about 5 years ago. Last year - the pool was leaking really bad - we had to put water in it every day!! We also noticed that the filter was not working properly. This year we bought a new sand filter. Almost immediately after installing, the leaking stopped. After about the third time I vaccumed this season, I noticed the water dropping again. No apparent sign of water leaking out anywhere, and the amount it was leaking - there would be a stream somewhere!! Couldnt find anything!
Just bought and installed a new sand filter, this summer. Filled it up - then vacummed it - worked great!! At next vacuum probably a week or so later -
the next day after vacuuming the water was low again! Filled it back up and did so for several days - then no problems at all. Repeated the second vacuum same thing - after a few days was fine again. Then at third vacuum - same thing - but this time - it never stopped leaking, and since we have had to run water in the pool everyday!! There are no apparent signs of that much leaking. We have checked for holes with goggles and masks. Even used the food color all around the pool. I am at a loss - our water bill has been outrageous!! Can’t keep doing this! We have checked with someone to come out but they are going to charge $300 just to check! Can’t afford that!! PLEASE HELP!! Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
If all the plumbing is above ground then the leak must be in the liner. Using a diving mask to find a hole in the liner is the best option. A liner can also get pin holes that are hard to find. If you can not find the leak then professional help may be you best option.
