Above Ground Swimming Pool Liner Installation Accessories

All above ground swimming pools need a cove. The pool cove is a vital structural element of your swimming pool. A cove is needed to keep the swimming pool liner from coming out under the bottom of the pool wall. Pool cove can be hand built using sand and dirt or by using foam pool cove.

Foam Pool Cove is a 3 inch by 4 inch preformed cove made from chemically neutral Ethafoam®, and is safe for use with all swimming pool liners. Lightweight and easy to handle, it comes in 48 inch long sections that bend easily without breaking and it is easy to install. Foam Pool Cove will not be washed out and will not hold moisture against metal components. This feature reduces corrosion and may add years of life to your swimming pool and its components. It is made from a high density foam, it will not change shape or indent, making cleaning your swimming pool easier. Install prior to spreading sand.

New Gorilla Pad makes old foam floor padding obsolete. Unlike foam, which can be easily cut by grass, roots or rocks under your liner, Gorilla Padding is impervious to almost any sharp object. Gorilla Padding is a geotextile that was developed to protect trash dump liners where any cut would be a catastrophe. Gorilla Padding is super tough, but also adds a layer of cushioning that will eliminate footprints from forming. Gorilla Pad is cut to size and seamed for your pool. Foam Pool Pad Made from a polyethylene foam It creates a barrier between the sand bottom and the swimming liner. Pool liner failure due to puncture is minimized and you get a smooth easy to clean bottom.

1/4" Foam Pool Pad is easy to install. Roll out a section of pad on top of the sand along one side of inside the swimming pool after the wall is set-up and cut the foam pad. Next, seam enough sections together with duct tape to cover the dimension of the swimming pool. (optional, flip pad over so tape is facing the ground) Trim off excess pad material and you are ready to install the pool liner.
