| All inground pool liners have a 20 year pro-rated warranty. The warranty covers the liner 100% during the first year and is pro-rated for seam separation only over the next 19 years based on the current MSR plus shipping. The liner warranty does not apply to tears, punctures, damage caused by undue abuse, excessive strain, improper installation procedures, improper chemical balance, insect damage or acts of God such as ice damage or failure caused by exceptional temperature extremes. The pro-rated warranty does not cover fading, discoloration, staining or changes in physical characteristics. The warranty does not cover any labor, chemical or water replacement. How well the liner fits is one of the most important aspects of how long the liner will last. It is the homeowners responsibility to make sure the swimming pool liner is being installed in a swimming pool with identical dimensions as the liner. The liner must be installed in a pool that is free of rough spots, rust, gravel, or any type of abrasive surfaces to which the liner will come in contact. The most suitable type of surface to put under the liner is a very fine grade of pure sand or vermiculite. Most pool owners replace their liner after 8-12 years. |
